Frequently asked questions
Is there a difference between being a "Class Credit" Participant and a "Paid" Participant?
Yes! Someone who needs to participate in a Rady Behavioral lab study as a requirement for one of their classes is a "class credit" participant. Others who want to participate in Rady Behavioral Lab study to be compensated are considered "paid" participants.
Do I need to be a UCSD student to participate in the Rady Behavioral Lab studies?
No, you do not need to be a UCSD student to participate. In fact you do not need to be associated with UCSD in any way. We are always looking for participants willing to take part in our studies. Those who want to take part in our studies who are not UCSD students would be considered "paid" participants.
