Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting (10-791)

The Rady School invites applications for two faculty positions at the assistant or associate professor level (tenured/tenure-track) in the field of accounting.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. or will be working towards a Ph.D. by the start date of the new academic year.  Preference will be given to assistant level applicants with emerging scholarly records, demonstrated teaching experience with graduate students and executives, and experience mentoring Ph.D. students.  Associate-level candidates must show evidence of a strong research record in their specialization.   Candidates should also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.

Salary and appointment level are dependent on experience and based on University of California pay scales. The position is expected to have a start date of July 1, 2015.

Assistant Professor of Marketing or Innovation, Technology and Operations (10-833)

Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records whose research interests intersect well with Rady’s business analytics initiatives.  Candidates should also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.

Lecturer (10-955)

The Rady School of Management (http://rady.ucsd.edu) at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. The Rady School invites applications for temporary lecturers from a broad range of business subjects including, but not limited to, accounting, marketing, project management, supply chain, finance, ethics and innovation to teach courses in our MBA, Masters of Finance, and Undergraduate programs. Appointments will likely be part-time, and possibly full-time from one quarter up to one year's duration. Many positions may be renewable. Preferred candidates will have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment. Preference will be given to experienced applicants with a graduate degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field, teaching experience, and subject matter expertise typically obtained through practical business experience.
