Mark’s Rady Experience: My long-term goal is to own a company in the health care space – one that is innovative, creative and helps a lot of people. I think that's one of the focuses here at Rady. Through the topics that we study, the companies we get to research and the entrepreneurs who visit us on campus, Rady provides a rich environment where people like me, who want to focus on the health care and innovative sectors, can really flourish.
Rady has significant strengths that really set it apart from other schools – for example, its focus on innovative industries. For those interested in tech, biotech and pharmaceuticals, this would definitely be right up their alley, especially since Rady is located in La Jolla. This is an area that fosters a creative way of thinking, there are a lot of entrepreneurs in the area and it's a hub for biotechnology. So if Rady students are interested in starting a company one day or going into the biotech space, there's a wealth of resources in the San Diego area that they can reach out to and really learn a lot from.
