The Rady School Celebrates 10 Years of Innovation

Beginning in June, the Rady School of Management is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking 10 years of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, integrity and risk-taking. Founded in 2003, the Rady School of Management was created due to a need expressed to the school's founders by the San Diego business community, citing a demand for the next generation of leaders in the innovation economy, with skills bridging science and technology with a strong business acumen. Rady School of Management Celebrates the Graduation of 110 MBA Students

On June 22, 2013, the Rady School of Management held a commencement ceremony for the MBA Class of 2013. The 110 MBA graduates were joined for the ceremony by over 600 family, friends and Rady School supporters. Rady Venture Fund Develops Next Generation Tech Investors

Rady School MBA students recently gained real-world investment experience by working on two investments made by the Rady Venture Fund, the school's student-assisted venture capital fund. In March 2013, the Rady Venture Fund invested in a $16 million Series B raise in startup Savara Pharmaceuticals, which is developing an inhalable antibiotic to treat cystic fibrosis patients with lung infections.
