Gary Jacobs is founder and managing director of Jacobs Investment Co., which participates in investment activities in the U.S., Israel and elsewhere. He serves as board chairman for DermTech International, Nutrinia Ltd. and Next Generation Technologies, and is a director of GEO2 Technologies, Bio2 Technologies, Motus GI Technologies, Medical Surgical Technologies and Fallbrook Technologies. Jacobs also owns the Lake Elsinore Storm pro baseball and Las Vegas Wranglers pro hockey teams. At the University of California, San Diego, he chairs the dean's advisory council for the social sciences. He's also on the boards of High Tech High charter high schools and the HTH Graduate School of Education in San Diego. Jacobs and his wife, Jerri-Ann, created the Jacobs International Teen Leadership Institute to bring together Jewish teens from San Diego and Israel and Arab teens from Israel and Gaza to study historical and current Muslim-Jewish relations. Jacobs holds a B.A. in management science from the UC San Diego.
