What is StartR?
StartR Rady is a non-profit accelerator program for Rady School of Management students and alumni designed to provide entrepreneurs the tools needed to start and grow their businesses.
StartR was founded in 2013 and now includes five tracks: Rady (for MBA students and alums), Inclusion (for founders from traditionally underrepresented populations), Impact (for student interested in social entrepreneurship), Veteran, and Teen. Since the founding, 173 teams have participated in StartR programs, 14 teams have graduated into prestigious incubators like YCombinator and Evonexus, and StartR companies have raised over $118M.
While each track has its own focus, all include a series of workshops featuring relevant speakers as well as an opportunity to receive guidance from program leaders and mentors.
Application dates and requirements apply for each program so please check the information carefully. No late applications are accepted. All accelerators are free of charge. Potential participants are welcome to apply for multiple tracks, provided they meet the stated criteria.
