StartR Social

What is StartR Social?

StartR Social is designed to support students of all levels at UC San Diego who are interested in creating social impact through entrepreneurship. StartR Social helps them to pursue their dreams of starting innovative, scalable, companies addressing important social issues.

StartR Social teams participate in workshops where they explore social entrepreneurship and focus on the various aspects of launching a startup. They are supported by a team of mentors and advisors with experience in social entrepreneurship.

StartR Social has developed from the recognition that students across UCSD show both a passion for addressing social issues and the ability to develop truly creative ideas to tackle these challenges. SVA is a joint project of the Rady School's Center for Social Innovation and Impact (CSII) and California Institute for Innovation and Development (CIID).
