Rady’s Impact Fellows engage directly with non-profits and NGOs on issues of strategic importance. Nonprofit leaders and their organizations are typically so focused on day-to-day challenges that they struggle to find the resources and the time to address larger, strategic issues and opportunities. For social sector organizations seeking to ensure sustainability, evaluate opportunities and business models, or develop models for measuring impact, Rady Impact Fellows can provide analytical and functional knowledge and strategic thinking.
Rady Impact Fellows are second-year Rady MBA students, selected through an application process, who work in small teams as student consultants with guidance from Rady faculty. Participating nonprofits seek deeper analysis and understanding of their organizations and their opportunities and challenges and the fresh perspective that engaged students can provide. The result: Rady students gain knowledge and understanding of the social sector and the particular challenges faced by social sector organizations. And the organizations that partner with us gain information and analysis they need to operate at a higher level.
The Rady Impact Fellows program is supported by a generous grant from the Moxie Foundation.
