Silvia McCallister-Castillo

Executive Director, MBA Programs

Silvia McCallister-Castillo is responsible for providing oversight, coordination and leadership to ensure the success of students in the Rady Full-time and Flex MBA Programs. 

Prior to joining the Rady School in 2020, McCallister-Castillo managed business school programs at the IE Business School in Madrid; the London Business School; Yale School of Management; and the University of Hong Kong. Her roles have spanned student recruitment and admissions, student affairs, alumni relations and career development. She has served on the Future of Work Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and taught marketing communications and student recruitment at the Graduate Management Admission Council. She currently serves as a board member at the MBA Roundtable, a global association of business schools.

McCallister-Castillo earned her bachelor’s degree in classics from Columbia University and master’s degree in corporate communications from the IE Business School, Madrid.
