Partnerships between the private sector and Rady graduate students are essential. The ties between industry and academia allow for a valuable interchange of ideas, which is key to any distinguished institution of learning. The Rady School of Management is committed to fostering a mutually beneficial relationship with the business community as it prepares the next generation of leaders for long-term success.

The Rady Graduate Career Management Center team belongs to, and regularly attends, meetings with these organizations, which sponsor student events and activities and gives students an opportunity to network with industry leaders.

Biocom is a member driven organization providing unmatched opportunities and resources to help life science companies and their employees fulfill their business goals and improve life through advancements in health, energy and agriculture. Biocom offers member companies meaningful access to the influential drivers propelling the industry forward across all major life science sectors, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical device, connected health, agriculture and bio-renewable energy.

HBA – Healthcare Businesswomen's Association

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association is the premier catalyst for the leadership development of women in healthcare worldwide. It furthers the advancement and impact of women in healthcare worldwide.


Founded in 1994, the MBA Career Services & Employer Alliance (MBA CSEA) is a professional association for individuals in the field of MBA career services, and those that recruit MBAs directly from MBA programs.

MIT Enterprise Forum

The MIT Enterprise Forum builds connections to technology entrepreneurs and to the communities in which they reside. The MIT Enterprise Forum produces a series of educational programs about entrepreneurship through a network of 28 worldwide chapters. Anyone interested in or involved with technology entrepreneurship is welcome to participate and join together to form the Enterprise Forum community. MIT Enterprise Forum is a global voice of entrepreneurship. It collaborates with hundreds of corporate and education organizations that connect technology entrepreneurs with resources which makes the commercialization of technology faster and easier.


MPACE was formed in the 2005 merger of the Western Assn. of Colleges & Employers and the Rocky Mountain Assn. of Colleges & Employers. Those two organizations have each been serving the career services and college relations community for over 50 years with members at universities and colleges throughout the western states as well as the employers who recruit on those campuses for college graduates.

NACE – The National Association of Colleges and Employers

The National Association of Colleges and Employers connects campus recruiting and career services professionals, and provides best practices, trends, research, professional development, and conferences.

National Society of Hispanic MBAs

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) is the premier Hispanic business organization dedicated to building and advancing Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development. Recognized as the nation's most prestigious Hispanic organization, NSHMBA has 39 chapters in the U.S. and Puerto Rico serving over 25,000 members since 1988.

National Black MBA Association, Inc.

The National Black MBA Association® (NBMBAA) was founded in 1970 at a two-day conference held at the University of Chicago, by a group of African American MBA students, faculty, advisors, and businessmen.  The National Black MBA Association leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African-Americans.

San Diego Military Advisory Council

The San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC), is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation, whose mission is to support, promote, and represent the common business and other interests of the military, their quality of life issues, and the defense industry community in the San Diego area.

SDSIC – San Diego Software Industry Council

The Council exists to foster and support the entrepreneurial spirit within the software and IT industry in San Diego, by providing an organized forum for the exchange of ideas, sharing of resources and promotion of industry goals.

SDVG – San Diego Venture Group

The San Diego Venture Group is a nonprofit business organization whose mission is to provide an informal atmosphere that fosters ideas on how to form, fund and build new ventures.

SHRM – Society for Human Resource Management

Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession. Founded in 1948, SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters within the United States and subsidiary offices in China and India.
