Interim Director/Assistant Director
Mitchell Kam is currently the Interim Director/Assistant Director with the Career Management Center. Mitch works closely with the executive directors of Rady’s specialty masters programs to create more employment opportunities and build on our employer base.
Career Consultant-Master of Science & Business Analytics
Jeanette provides career advising to students in the Master of Science, Business Analytics (MSBA) program. She helps these students with career exploration, goal setting, job and internship searching, interview preparation, and salary negotiation. In addition, Jeanette partners with employers interested in hiring MSBA students for full time and internship opportunities.
Philayne helps the Career Management Center team by running the workshops, programs, career fairs and events throughout the year for all programs.
Data Analyst and Operations Lead
Chrystal works with the CMC team to collect student pre- and post – program employment data. In addition to systems oversight, Chrystal oversees the day-to-day operations of the CMC department.
Career Consultant-Master of Finance Program
Michelle provides career advising for the Master of Finance (MFin) program. In this role, she enjoys partnering with students to support them with exploring career interests, resume and cover letter review, and job/internship search strategy and preparation. Michelle also develops programs for the Careers team and connects with employers who are interested in MFin talent.
Career Consultant-Master of Accountancy Program
Kathy oversees career development for Master of Public Accountancy and graduating Master of Finance students. She is skilled at assisting individuals with identifying strengths as well as leveraging experiences and contacts to target career opportunities. She is passionate about empowering candidates through the development of key job search skills, including interview techniques, networking strategies, and resume construction. She also partners with employers seeking students and alumni with finance and accounting skills.
Accountancy Program Employer Relations Manager
Michelle oversees accounting recruitment activity for UC San Diego. She cultivates existing and develops new relationships with alumni and accounting firms, government agencies, and industry to increase job, internship, and networking opportunities for Master of Professional Accountancy students and more than 400 undergraduate Accounting students.
