Message from Dean Ordóñez
Over the past 16 years, the Rady School of Management has transitioned from a small startup business school to an established, flourishing educational powerhouse. Our school’s rapid growth means it is time to update the strategic plan that was developed six years ago.
The plan will serve as the primary compass that will guide our decisions on the future of our school while incorporating the strategic priorities of UC San Diego. It is critical that we receive input from the Rady School community on our strategic plan. Throughout the process, we will use the information gathered from our Town Hall sessions, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, surveys, and market research to guide the formation of the plan. I alone cannot determine the vision for the future of our school. We must develop this plan together. One of the benefits of being a smaller business school is that we have the unique opportunity to listen to every voice. My hope is that the Rady School community will engage in the strategic planning process at every opportunity available.
I am truly excited about working with our stakeholders to develop an outstanding strategic plan that will guide the direction of our school for years to come. Please reach out to me or one of the strategic plan committee members with any questions during this process. I look forward to working with you on this plan!
