Prepare for Your GMAT on Us!
As a gesture of our appreciation to our military/veterans community, we want to help you transition to a business career. In partnership with UC San Diego Extension, the Rady School of Management is proud to offer two complimentary GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) Prep courses for eligible military veterans or active duty personnel.
GMAT Prep courses will be conducted on the Rady School of Management campus on March 7th and March 14th at no cost to you. The courses are divided into verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning and designed to prepare participants to be more effective GMAT test takers. If your schedule permits, we suggest you attend both courses to maximize your learning experience and enhance your GMAT score.
GMAT Boot Camp: Quantitative Reasoning
The Quantitative Reasoning section of the GMAT measures students’ ability to reason mathematically, solve quantitative problems and interpret graphic data. This course gives students the tools to tackle the two types of problems in this section – Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency. We will review concepts in basic arithmetic, algebra and geometry, and also practice the logic and analytical skills students need to do well on this part of the exam.

GMAT Boot Camp: Verbal Reasoning
The Verbal Reasoning section of the GMAT measures students’ ability to read and comprehend written material, evaluate arguments and correct material to express ideas effectively. This course gives students the tools to tackle the three types of questions in this section: Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning and Sentence Correction. Students will analyze written material in a variety of fields in order to strengthen the comprehension, reasoning and language proficiency skills they need to do well on this part of the exam.

Transitioning from the Military
The Rady MBA core curriculum provides the analytical tools and business fundamentals needed to succeed in a business environment.
