The Rady School of Management facilitates the application process for a limited number of scholarships provided by donors and organizations. Only UCSD undergraduate students minoring in business or accounting are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Graduate Management Admission Council

The Graduate Management Admissions Council is the organization that administers the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test). This test is primarily used for students applying for graduate school in business (MBA) or a similar field. This scholarship has been designed to assist economically disadvantaged candidates. Specifically, we will provide those candidates with a GMAT® fee waiver which can be used for one test administration.

The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has announced for the second year that they will offer scholarships for their Certificate of Management Accounting (CMA) program. These scholarships are worth over $1,500 and cover testing, applications, and membership fees. Rady Undergraduate Accounting Minors have been awarded the CMA Scholarship since 2013. Pursuing a CMA is a great way to separate yourself from other accounting job-seekers when meeting with recruiters!

In past years, the San Diego chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) will award one University of California, San Diego Accounting Minor student with a $500 merit-based scholarship and admittance to the annual IIA scholarship awards luncheon.

The IIA is an international professional association with more than 170,000 members in over 165 countries world-wide.  The IIA supports activities advocating and promoting the value of internal audit, providing comprehensive professional education, development and certification programs to its members, and bringing information together in pursuit of best practices and knowledge sharing in the field of internal audit.  IIA also seeks to provide information and support to educate the next generation of internal audit and to promote interest in the field.
