Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) – Junior Application

UC Junior? Start Planning Your Path to the UC San Diego Rady MPAc.

If you're a University of California junior thinking about a future in accounting, the Rady School invites you to apply for Conditional Nomination to the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) program.

The Junior Application process allows highly qualified UC undergraduates in junior standing to be identified early for conditional nomination to the MPAc program beginning the following fall.

Conditional Nomination provides select, high-achieving UC juniors with a conditional pathway to enrollment and early access to Rady career resources, contingent upon successfully completing their bachelor’s degree and meeting all stated academic and program requirements during their UC senior year.

Conditional Nomination is distinct from early admission and 4+1 or accelerated programs. It does not guarantee final admission, reserve a seat in the class, or permit early matriculation into graduate coursework.

Benefits of Applying for Conditional Nomination as a Junior

  • Application fee waiver when submitting the official MPAc application during senior year
  • Early access to Rady MPAc career resources, beginning one year prior to program start
  • Access to recruiting opportunities typically reserved for current MPAc students
  • Expedited review process, including access to an abbreviated MPAc application
  • One required letter of recommendation (instead of two)
  • Automatic $10,000 Fellowship for UC graduates who enroll in the program

The current Junior Application admissions deadline is April 1, 2026.
