Student Petitions
Students should only complete this online petition form for requests related to Rady School of Management classes or programs. Rady programs include:
- Accounting Minor
- Business Minor
- Entrepreneurship & Innovation Minor
- Finance Minor
- Marketing Minor
- Supply Chain/Technology, Innovation, and Supply Chain Minor
- International Studies – International Business (MGT courses only)
- Business Psychology (MGT courses only)
- Business Economics (MGT courses only)
Acceptable requests include:
- Petition to bypass the waitlist
- Petition to take two courses concurrently
- Petition to substitute an approved prerequisite with an alternative course
- Petition to use an “MGT” course towards your degree requirements
- Petition to count a transfer course towards your business-related major or Rady minor requirements
- Petition to count a study abroad course towards degree requirement
- Receive pre-approval for a transfer or UC San Diego courses to apply towards the Rady Minor or business-related major
Students must use the paper Undergraduate General Petition for any petitions that require additional approval from the College or Senate.
If you took financial accounting off campus and would like to request credit for ECON/MGT 4, please submit a petition to the Department of Economics. Information on how to submit a petition to them can be found here.
