The ties between industry and academia allow for a valuable interchange of ideas, which is key to any distinguished institution of learning. The Rady School of Management is committed to fostering a mutually beneficial relationship with the business community as it prepares the next generation of leaders for long-term success.

The Rady Graduate Career Management Center team belongs to, and regularly attends, meetings with these organizations, which sponsor student events and activities and gives students an opportunity to network with industry leaders.

Founded in 1994, the MBA Career Services & Employer Alliance (MBA CSEA) is a professional association for individuals in the field of MBA career services, and those that recruit MBAs directly from MBA programs.

MPACE

MPACE was formed in the 2005 merger of the Western Assn. of Colleges & Employers and the Rocky Mountain Assn. of Colleges & Employers. Those two organizations have each been serving the career services and college relations community for over 50 years with members at universities and colleges throughout the western states as well as the employers who recruit on those campuses for college graduates.

NACE – The National Association of Colleges and Employers

The National Association of Colleges and Employers connects campus recruiting and career services professionals, and provides best practices, trends, research, professional development, and conferences.

National Black MBA Association, Inc.

The National Black MBA® Association was conceived in 1970 to help Blacks coming into the corporate sector, largely for the first time, share experiences and insights to help make the journey easier. By nurturing these new professionals, the organization helped early members navigate and, ultimately, succeed in unfamiliar and frequently challenging environments. It is those professionals who have risen up and reached back to bring up the next generation of Black professionals through providing coaching, guidance and mentoring.  The National Black MBA Association® leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for Black professionals.

Net Impact

Net Impact is a global community of students and professionals who want to become the most effective change agents they can be. Over 100,000 strong, Net Impact emerging leaders take on social challenges, protect the environment, invent new products and orient business toward the greater good. Net Impact mobilizes new generations to use their skills and careers to drive transformational social and environmental change.

Prospanica (formerly known as National Society of Hispanic MBAs)

Prospanica has advocated for Hispanic business professionals for 30 years. Since our founding as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs in 1988, we’ve hosted annual career and professional development conferences, connecting thousands of Hispanics to graduate programs, subject matter experts, corporations, and each other.  Prospanica has given over $8 million in scholarships for graduate education, and many of those recipients have led our professional chapters and university chapters across the US and Puerto Rico, advancing diversity causes in their own communities. In 2016, as Hispanics continued to occupy a growing portion of the nation’s demographics, we rebranded as Prospanica to broaden our mission to serve all Hispanic professionals.

San Diego Military Advisory Council

The San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC), is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation, whose mission is to support, promote, and represent the common business and other interests of the military, their quality of life issues, and the defense industry community in the San Diego area.

SDVG – San Diego Venture Group

The San Diego Venture Group is a nonprofit business organization whose mission is to provide an informal atmosphere that fosters ideas on how to form, fund and build new ventures.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession.
