Ways to Engage
Corporate Projects: Develop your talent pipeline while working with Rady on projects that generate insights from their data. A team of skilled graduate students and faculty advisors work with your company during the fall or spring quarters (October to June) on a project of interest. From the organization’s perspective, the project should have high business relevance and value, but should not be thought of as a consulting engagement because there is no compensation. Options include:
Capstone Projects
Scholarships/Fellowships
Providing scholarship/fellowship funding to support current Rady graduate business students is a great way to give back to the community and brand your organization as one that supports professional development.
Case Competitions/Case Hacks
This is an innovative opportunity to share more about your company with students and identify top-talent in a simulated environment. Allowing students access to (past or present) real-world problems that your company has had to deal with gives students a chance to test their knowledge and presentation and decision-making skills, as well as prepare them for some of the issues they may need to tackle in their post-graduation careers.
Classroom Speakers’ Series/Career Panels/Clubs
Professionals working in a specific industry or function are invited to share their knowledge and experience about the field, including possible career paths, to a focused audience of Rady graduate students.
Treks/Office Visits
In-office visits/treks are a great way to brand your company’s name with students and increase awareness of internship or full-time roles. Treks typically include a tour, an overview of the company/organization, and an opportunity to hear from current employees about their roles.
