Advancing the Future of Employee Ownership

The Rady School of Management, with support from the Beyster family, is committed to advancing the understanding and practice of employee ownership as an effective and responsible business model. In February 2026, the Beyster Institute formally transitioned from an "Institute" into an endowed fund with a single purpose of bridging industry and academia to prototype and pilot innovative employee-ownership strategies.
