Prior to Rady, Thales Teixeira was on the faculty of the Harvard Business School for 10 years. He is the co-founder of digital disruption consultancy Decoupling.co and has extensive experience consulting and advising top executives at 15 of the Fortune 100 companies, among them Samsung, Nike, GM, BMW and Microsoft. He has won various awards as both a researcher and an instructor, and he is the author of “Unlocking the Customer Value Chain,” an influential book on digital disruption that has been republished in several languages.
Teixeira’s expertise is in helping established firms adapt their business models, AI and digital strategies to the new Digital-AI Economy, based on a deep understanding of changes in customer behavior. He is also on the board or is an investor in various startups. His research and opinions have been featured in The Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, The Financial Times, ABC Nightly News, NBC News, NPR, Forbes, Quartz, The New Yorker, and The Guardian. He is a judge at CNBC’s annual Disruptor50 competition.
