Rady School’s Part-Time MBA Program Highly Ranked by U.S. News & World Report

3/12/19

The part-time FlexEvening MBA program at the Rady School  of Management continued to climb in the graduate business school rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. The school moved to the 35th spot, up from 56th in 2019 and 75th in 2018. The increase in school’s peer-assessment score (perception of business school deans and directors of accredited part-time MBA programs), which comprises 50% of the part-time MBA ranking weight, contributed to the increase in overall ranking score.

FlexEvening MBA graduates have founded startups that are changing our world. Aira, founded by Suman Kanuganti (MBA ’14), provides technology and services to enable the visually impaired more freedom in their everyday lives. Logicbio, founded by Leszek Lisowski (MBA ’16) has developed genetic medicine to fight rare pediatric diseases and Epitracker, founded by Eric Venn-Watson (MBA ’10), is using small molecules to treat rare diseases. These companies are just some of the 182 operational startups founded since the Rady School’s inception 15 years ago.

The school’s Full-Time MBA ranked 69th, with its assessment score by career recruiters continuing to rise. Careers data, including average starting salary and bonus, percent of graduates employed at graduation, and percent of graduates employed three months after graduation, comprised 35% of the Full-Time MBA ranking weight.
