The Full-Time MBA and Executive MBA (EMBA) programs at the Rady School of Management UC San Diego have once again been highly ranked by CEO Magazine. The school’s Full-Time MBA program earned a Tier One ranking from CEO Magazine, the highest ranking given by the magazine. The EMBA program at the Rady School was ranked 19th in the world, up four places from last year.The MBA and EMBA at the Rady School were the only programs ranked by CEO Magazine in San Diego. MBA programs in North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Australia were ranked by the magazine.
The CEO Magazine Global MBA ranking evaluated MBA programs on several measures including the quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, faculty to student ratio and international exposure to determine which schools offer exceptional quality with a great return on investment.
CEO Magazine is a source for MBA applicants and business leaders to research top MBA programs. The magazine began its MBA school rankings in 2012 and has an MBA program search tool that allows potential MBA students to compare over 900 programs from across the globe.
The Rady School’s Full-Time MBA program is an immersive experience tailored to professionals, often having science and technology backgrounds, who have an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. The program provides students with the inspiration, business acumen, and faculty and alumni support to achieve a significant impact. A large number of Rady students go on to establish startup ventures or work with small, entrepreneurial companies. To date, there are 182 operational startups that have launched since the school’s first MBA class graduated in 2006.
The Rady School’s EMBA program, the FlexWeekend MBA, is tailored to senior-level working professionals who want to amplify their business acumen and gain entrepreneurial skills to enhance their careers. FlexWeekend MBA students typically have the most years of work experience of any Rady School cohort and have the largest percentage of students who have advanced degrees, such as M.D. and Ph.D.s, when they enter the program.
