Tuition & Aid: Flex M.S. in Business Analytics

Your Rady FlexMSBA is an investment of time, energy and money. Early consideration of how you will finance your studies ensures that you will be ready and able to accept an offer of admission. The Rady School is committed to helping you identify your options and providing advice to assist you with your financial decisions.

Tuition and Program Fees

The FlexMSBA fee for students enrolling in 2023-2024 can be found here. The Rady School and UC San Diego offer grants, loans, and fellowships to assist students. Fees are subject to change. The Rady FlexMSBA program is 50 credit units. The fees are billed quarterly and include registration and all electronic textbooks and course materials.

Students enrolling in the FlexMSBA program cannot use CalVet Tuition Fee exemptions; this program is not supported with state funds and is not subject to the state law regarding CalVet Tuition Fee exemptions.

Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented.

Scholarships

Rady provides limited scholarship support to exceptional individuals. All domestic and international admitted students are considered for merit-based scholarship upon admission. No additional application is required. Learn more about our donor-supported and other special fellowshipsAll graduates of any University of California campus are eligible for the Rady-funded UC Scholarship in the amount of $10,000.

Financial Assistance

To be considered for financial assistance or non-subsidized loans, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). UC San Diego’s school code is 001317. Once your FAFSA data has been processed and transferred to the UC San Diego's Financial Aid Office by the FAFSA central processor, you will be notified of your eligibility by the Financial Aid Office.

Student Contribution Appeal

Your expected student contribution for the academic year will be based largely on your prior calendar-year income. For students who have been working full-time during the prior year, this expected contribution may not accurately reflect your current or projected financial situation as a full-time student. Students falling into this situation should submit a student contribution appeal form.

Benefits for Military FlexMSBA Candidates

Fee Waiver
In appreciation of their service to our country, the Rady School of Management will waive the application fee for all current and former members of the military applying to the Rady FlexMSBA program. Please contact Graduate Admissions to receive the application fee waiver before submitting your application.

Active Duty
