Dan Salzman is Chief Marketing Officer at Vizient, the nation’s largest member-owned healthcare performance improvement company. He leads Vizient’s enterprise go-to-market and communications strategy, with a focus on strengthening the brand, elevating executive and thought leadership, and translating insight-led demand into measurable growth. Dan is focused on modernizing how Vizient shows up in the market – bringing greater clarity, stronger alignment across business units, and a disciplined, data-driven approach in support of Vizient’s long-term strategy.

Dan is a highly accomplished, business-oriented marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling world-class B2B and B2C marketing organizations for global Fortune 100 companies. Prior to Vizient, he held senior leadership roles at HP Inc., including Senior Vice President and Business Unit CMO for HP’s $4.5B Workforce Solutions business, where he led the transformation from a product-centric model to a services- and solutions-led growth engine. Earlier at HP, Dan built and led a 300-person global marketing services organization spanning media, data science, insights, and market intelligence, delivering significant gains in efficiency, speed to market, and ROI.

Before HP, Dan spent more than a decade at Johnson & Johnson, where he served as Global Vice President of Strategic Insights and played a key role in integrating consumer insights, analytics, and marketing effectiveness across the enterprise. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for grounding strategy in deep customer insight, driving cross-functional alignment, and holding marketing accountable for growth outcomes.

Dan holds a PhD in Social and Personality Psychology from Lehigh University and a BS in Experimental Psychology from Liberty University.
