Karen Silberman

Karen Silberman serves on the board of Carleton Management, Inc., her family’s real estate investment, management, and development business. She was previously involved in theater management and production, management information services and employee training, and medical practice management. Karen attended the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. In the community, Karen is on the board of directors of the La Jolla Playhouse, UC San Diego Health board of advisors, the board of directors of Hope Village San Diego, Sharp Mesa Vista Philanthropy Counsel and the Francis Parker School Diversity Committee. Previously, Karen served on the board of directors of Congregation Beth Israel, National Conference of Christians and Jews, San Diego Center for Children, United Jewish Federation Women's Division, and Hillel of San Diego. She has also served on the Vista Hill Council on Mental Health and Jewish Family Services
