María Ariza

María Ariza is CEO of Bolsa Institucional de Valores (BIVA), a global electronic marketplace for buying and selling securities. Prior to joining BIVA, María spent her entire professional career in the private equity sector, holding various leadership positions. These positions include CEO of the Mexican Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AMEXCAP), partner at Ictus Capital, and an associate at NAFTA Fund LLC.

María is a Founding Partner and member of the Board of Facial Design SA de CV, a Mexican company dedicated to the development and marketing of products for women. She also headed the Project Management Office at Grupo Impulso Empresarial and served as strategic planning manager at Asia Pacific Economic Corporation Organizing Committee.

María is a partner at Grupo Salus, Muventa, KL Studios, Cervecería Colima, and Matterscale Ventures. Additionally, she participates on the boards, advisory committees, and technical committees of many companies, institutions, and non-profit organizations. María holds a master’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Harvard University and is an Industrial Engineer with academic excellence from Universidad Iberoamericana.
