Equity, Diversity, Inclusion. Pick one of these words and tell us what it means to you.

Our differences challenge us to broaden and deepen our vision, to reexamine standing assumptions and ask questions we have not asked before. Attending carefully to our diversity is a way of promoting a culture of respect, civility, and empathy so that all members of our community can thrive. I believe that this is our goal at Rady.

Choose a (course/program) at Rady that left an impact on you. Why?

Global Business Immersion- Israel Immersion has had a huge impact on me. This course allows us to work with outstanding students from Israel. By collaborating with them, not only did I have a chance to meet new friends, but also to share thoughts and learn from each other. I built professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds. These are takeaways beneficial for my career.

One of Rady's guiding principles is that we are Community Focused. What has community looked like for you at Rady?

As a student at Rady, I am welcome in this community. People are supportive and informative. Everyone is passionate about their jobs and makes a meaningful contribution to Rady community. The faculty and staff have helped me to adjust to the community well. In addition, Rady alumni are always willing to connect with me and assist me to reach my goals. For me, Rady is more than a business school, I feel at home here.

How has your time at Rady impacted your career ambitions?

Rady provides a lot of informative resources for me to strengthen my leadership skills and business acumen. They not only help my knowledge and skills move to the next level, but also assist me to expand my career goals. I have built my network and met people who have the same interests by participating in clubs, panels, and career events. Now, I have a broader vision for my future career and am ready to have an adventure, and dive into an uncharted area with some of the friends I've met from Rady.

Beyond your professional life, what brings you joy?

Beyond my professional life, I like meeting new people and trying new things. Jumping out of a comfort zone is the way to innovation and progression, this is my philosophy. Exploring uncharted territory brings me joy. I enjoy making an effort to do things I've never done before, conquer my fear, and accomplish them successfully.
