Jessica Burson

Graduate Program Advisor - Master of Quantitative Finance

Jessica Burson provides academic counseling and advising to graduate students in the Master of Finance program. She monitors their academic progress toward graduation, advises them on how to resolve academic difficulties and provides assistance to address course scheduling and registration issues. In addition, Burson is responsible for planning and implementing special events such as commencement, orientation and other special events for Master of Finance students.

Before coming to the Rady School in 2024, Burson served as an academic advisor for Graduate Business Programs at the University of San Diego and as Clerkship Coordinator at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Burson earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from the University of Missouri and her master’s degree in English with an emphasis in rhetoric from National University.
