Profile
Arushi Srivastava is a Ph.D. student in Management at the Rady School of Management. Before beginning her doctoral studies, she held pre-doctoral research positions at UC Berkeley, Purdue University, and James Cook University, Singapore. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology, with a specialization in Clinical and Counselling Practice, from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Amity University, India. Her research interests lie at the intersection of affective science, cultural psychology, and wellbeing studies. She is particularly interested in understanding the social causes and consequences of positive emotions and their role in shaping personal and relational wellbeing. Through her scholarly work, she seeks to advance theoretical and empirical knowledge on how individuals can harness emotions to lead more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling lives.
