Profile
Jiahui Shui’s research focuses on theoretical asset pricing, behavioral finance, and the intersection of macroeconomics and financial markets. His current work investigates how, and in what sense, the Federal Reserve may influence investor beliefs as revealed through market asset prices. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at the Rady School of Management, he earned a Master of Finance from Rady and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Artificial Intelligence from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Before pursuing his master’s degree, he worked at a quantitative investment firm, an experience that deepened his understanding of financial markets and sparked his interest in research.
