Profile
Siqi Wang is a Ph.D. candidate with research interests at the intersection of product management, technical innovation, and economic modeling. Her current work involves developing analytical models to better understand product strategy and decision-making processes in technology-driven environments. In addition, she is exploring how economic theory—particularly mechanism design and fairness considerations—can be applied to machine learning algorithms, with a focus on promoting equity and transparency in algorithmic decision-making. Wang completed her undergraduate studies at UC San Diego, where she double majored in statistics and economics and was honored with the Joel Dean Award for academic excellence. She then pursued a master’s degree in operations research at UC Berkeley, where she deepened her interest in optimization, decision science, and applied modeling.
