Profile
Louise Lee is a PhD student in Innovation, Technology, and Operations at the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego. Her research interests center on AI innovation in healthcare, particularly its applications to healthcare operations, resource allocation, medical decision making, and health policy. She is interested in how emerging technologies can advance both clinical outcomes and the design of more effective healthcare delivery systems. Louise holds an M.S. in Business Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and a degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. She previously worked as a Senior Analyst at a community development entity, where she was exposed to the significant challenge of allocating limited federal resources to improve healthcare access across the United States. The questions raised by this work motivated her to pursue research in healthcare operations.
