Profile
Peixin Wan is a PhD student in the Information Technology & Operations (ITO) track at the Rady School of Management, University of California San Diego. His research interests lie in Information Systems, with a focus on digital transformation, platform strategy, and the adoption and impact of emerging technologies such as generative AI. He is particularly interested in combining empirical modeling and data-driven approaches to understand how firms and organizations create value through technological innovation. Peixin holds a master’s degree in Business Analytics from Washington University in St. Louis and has experience developing intelligent solutions using large language models for enterprise and public-sector applications. His broader goal is to advance research that bridges theory and practice in technology-enabled business decision-making.
