Profile
Paul Wynns is a Ph.D. student at the Rady School of Management whose research focuses on trust, decision-making, and human-centered design in automated systems, with a particular emphasis on aviation and transportation. A former naval aviator and aerospace program manager, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to behavioral research and applied innovation. Wynns has received recognition from the UC San Diego Tribal Membership Initiative and the International Aircraft Dealers Association, and he regularly co-facilitates design and innovation workshops with the U.S. Naval Institute. His broader goal is to expand access to technical and leadership careers for veterans and non-traditional students through inclusive, mission-driven pathways.
