Profile
Mark E. Nissen teaches the MBA elective Knowledge Management for Strategic Advantage. Prof. Nissen is a leading researcher in the knowledge management (KM) field, continuing to extend the state of the art in dynamic knowledge and organization. His 200+ scientific publications span information systems, management, organization studies, computer networks, project management and related fields.
Mark was an early contributor to artificial intelligence and machine learning (AIML), working first on language recognition, and then using graph-based inference to analyze and redesign organization processes. He has won many academic awards, served in many editorial roles, advised many PhD students, led many conference tracks and sessions, been awarded many research grants, and reviewed countless academic manuscripts.
