Profile
Dr. Menes Kum first joined Rady School of Management as a PhD Research Scholar in 2017 and has taught as a Lecturer here since 2022. While working on his Master degrees in Berlin, he also studied in Canada and China and began his industry training as an Innovation Analyst at Deutsche Telekom Innovation Laboratories. Dr. Kum then served as a Consultant for Capgemini Consulting before joining Deloitte Consulting as Manager of Innovation/Digital Projects. Upon completing his PhD, Dr. Kum joined Deloitte Consulting in New York City, where he continues to serve as an Associate Partner.
He has over 12 years of consulting experience and specializes in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Human-Centered Design, and Digital Transformation. In addition to teaching at Rady, Dr. Kum has been a returning Visiting Lecturer teaching MBA courses on Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of San Diego, University of Amsterdam, and University of Muenster.
