Profile

Dr. Davis is Founder, President and CEO of the Sport Management Research Institute (SMRI) since 1995; and established the Global Interface Consulting Group, where she continues to serve as CEO and managing partner. She is a recognized national expert in Sport Economics and Sport Market Analysis. She was recognized as a Distinguished Woman in Business in 2006 and honored as a "Distinguished Alumni" in 2010 by her undergraduate institution, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

She was Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Sport Management Program at the College of Business, Florida Atlantic University, from 1998 to 2000, and Associate Professor and Director, Sport Manager Graduate/Undergraduate Programs at Barry University from 1992 to 1997. Her research has been cited nationally and internationally in a variety of well-known publications, such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal (consecutive mentions the past four years, 2020-2023).
