Profile
David Vaughn, CFA, CETF®, is Chief Investment Officer for Non-US and Global Strategies at ClariVest Asset Management, a behavioral finance-based equity manager with over $8 billion of assets under management and advisement that he co-founded. Previously, he led the International/Global Systematic product areas at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, and prior to that was a researcher in the Advanced Strategies and Research Group (ASRG) at Barclays Global Investors.
A recipient of the MSCF Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award from Carnegie Mellon University, Mr. Vaughn has been published in The Journal of Investing and has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Business Insider, and other publications. Beyond his professional work, he served as a middle school math coach for many years, and coached California’s state MATHCOUNTS team to victory at the national competition in 2014.
