William “Bill” Molloie

Profile

After a distinguished 34-year career, Bill retired as an Assurance Partner with the international accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). His primary areas of expertise include mergers & acquisitions, capital transactions, initial and secondary public offerings, private placements, and venture capital. Bill served as lead partner on many publicly traded and private pharma/life science and technology clients in Philadelphia, China and Southern California and led the SoCal Pharma/Life Science practice of PwC. He spent four years in China as Territory Lead Partner for multinational clients, including pre-IPO venture backed companies, China-based Foreign Private Issuers, and Registrants with the U.S. Security and Exchange Commission. Bill also led the China/Hong Kong Technology practice.

He has served in leadership roles in organizations such as Biocom, Connect, and the San Diego Venture Group. Bill chaired the Investment and Audit Committees of The Scripps Research Institute and served in similar capacities with other organizations. He is an active contributor to the communities in which he lives, coaching youth athletic teams and serving on community boards. Once retired from PwC, Bill began developing and delivering courses for Rady’s MPAc program and is a member of the Board of Directors of a San Diego based early-stage biotech company, where he also serves on the Compensation Committee as well as a Santa Clara based technology company with global operations, where he also chairs the Audit Committee. Bill is a CPA and completed a certification program in “Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age” from Harvard University’s Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning.
