Continuing Lecturer of Finance, Executive Director of The Brandes Center

Profile

Bob Schmidt has taught in the Master of Finance program at the Rady School since 2016. Previously, he led the Brandes Institute, an investment think tank associated with Brandes Investment Partners. Prior to joining Brandes in 2000, he worked as Head Writer with Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management. Previously, Bob was an Associate Vice President with Western Financial Corp. He earned a BA (magna cum laude) from Duquesne University and an MA from California State University, San Marcos.
