Leading NutFrusion, Sherry Hayes leverages her extensive experience in process improvement and project management. Before embarking on this journey, she held a pivotal role at the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Pacific. As the Administrator and Project Controller of the Program and Project Management Division, she refined processes and upheld rigorous health service standards. Furthermore, as a Senior Program Analyst for the Navy's Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit FIVE, she enriched her understanding of health services in a military setting.
Her journey began with the U.S. Navy as an enlisted hospital corpsman, which laid the groundwork for her ascent to a Medical Service Corps, Environmental Health Officer. Key roles included Division Officer in the Environmental Health and Epidemiology Department at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego and leading the Preventive Medicine Department at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy. Beyond training environmental health specialists, Ms. Hayes has designed and executed educational programs in both military and academic settings, always with a keen eye on the nuances of health services.
Professionally certified, Ms. Hayes's credentials include a Certification in Public Health from the National Board of Public Health Examiners, Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt from UCSD Extended Studies, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
