Jeff Klaas

Jeff Klaas has taught at Rady since 2017, bringing 27 years of industry experience to the classroom. He has extensive entrepreneurial executive in executive leadership positions at venture backed and publicly traded organizations, including CEO & Co-Founder of IAVI, Chief Digital Officer and EVP at the American Cancer Society and Sr. Vice President of SRS Labs (now Xperi).  Currently Mr. Klaas serves as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at the Foundation Fighting Blindness focusing on healthcare initiatives, fundraising, and research. He serves on the Board of Directors at Foundant Technologies, Enrichly, and has been a board mentor for start-up incubation organizations including EvoNexus. He is a highly sought after inspirational speaker and legislative advocate. In 2022, the University of Southern California awarded Mr. Klaas their Medal of Courage for his philanthropic and professional accomplishments.
