Michael Berthelot

Continuing Lecturer of Management

Since 2004, Berthelot has served as Chief Executive Officer of Cito Capital Corporation and in 2021 he became Chief Financial Officer for Epitracker Inc./Seraphina Therapeutics Inc, holding both positions concurrently. He is a CPA and former director for numerous companies, including Trans Technology Corp., Mtelligence Corp., Pro-Dex Inc., PenChecks Inc., and currently Fresh Del Monte Produce, among others. Berthelot has taught at Rady since 2009, the same year he was inducted into Cleveland State University's “Hall of Innovators.” He also teaches in the UCSD Extension program, teaching numerous modules for the Executive Perspective for Scientists and Engineers Program. For nearly 20 years,  Berthelot has served as a volunteer CEO Mentor with Chairmen’s RoundTable, a strategic mentoring program for select San Diego companies, including Harley-Davidson, SeaWorld, Scripps Health, Burger King, and others, navigating business challenges. He is also an active mentor and advisor to Flex MBA students working on independent projects.
